Cavanaugh Bay Fly In

If you have been to this Fly-In in the past, expect a similar amount of fun and camaraderie! Actually quite a few people show up late Friday afternoon to get a head start on the weekend even though there are no scheduled activities. Alan the airstrip Manager, makes the coffee each morning.
On Saturday, if there are enough airplanes and interest, a possible fly-out to Bird Aviation Museum or maybe over to Sullivan Lake will be discussed. The Resort/Marina at the north end of the runway is open at 11:00 for lunch.
Saturday evening, the schedule calls for a potluck BBQ, with everyone bringing something to cook on the grill and something (edible) to share with others. Departure on Sunday depends on your own plans. The Resort/Marina has a buffet Brunch starting at 9:00 AM so that is an option for food on Sunday.
